GIVING IT RASKOLNIKOV
A copy of Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky which has been administered half a dozen blows with a small axe, with disturbing results. A Dell (NY, 1971) paperback edition, this contains as a bookmark a sales receipt from Austick's Bookshops, Leeds, dated 8/10/73 (though not for this particular book).
